Privacy policy
Last updated September 14, 2026
Pacey is operated by Hockey Labs, Inc. This policy explains what Pacey collects and why.
Information we collect
Pacey creates an anonymous account identifier. We store your onboarding choices, exercise goals, progress, notification preferences, and Pacey Pro access status. If you add a sign-in method, we store your verified email address and may receive your name and email address from Apple or Google. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process purchase and transaction identifiers. Our systems process your IP address during account creation and support-form submissions to prevent abuse. When you contact support, we receive the message, optional name and email address, and app/device context that the app sends with the request.
How we use information
We use this information to provide and recover your account, personalize workouts, track progress, send notifications and sign-in emails you request, manage Pacey Pro access, answer requests, prevent fraud, and maintain the service.
Service providers
We use Convex for authentication, support-form processing, and data storage, Apple and Google for optional sign-in and store purchases, Resend to deliver email and support requests, Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare Workers to prevent automated abuse and rate-limit support submissions, RevenueCat to manage subscription access, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. These providers process information only to supply their services and under their own privacy terms.
Advertising measurement
With your permission, we share your device advertising identifier, trial starts, purchase amounts, currency, transaction identifiers, and purchase times with TikTok to measure Pacey ads and optimize them for purchases. TikTok may also receive device and network information through its SDK. We do not send workout history, exercise goals, camera images, video, body-position data, email addresses, or phone numbers to TikTok. Camera-based rep counting happens on your device. Apple may provide anonymous advertising measurements through SKAdNetwork even if you decline tracking.
On iOS, you can change tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. We check permission when Pacey opens and stop future personal event delivery when a revocation reaches our server. If your device is offline, that update waits for connectivity. Server permission expires after seven days without a refresh. Previously shared events cannot be recalled through the device setting.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and app data while your account is active and as needed for security, legal, and financial records. Unused email confirmation links expire after seven days. You may remove a sign-in method in Pacey or request account deletion using the instructions on our support page. Store purchase records may remain with Apple, Google, and RevenueCat as required for transaction history and fraud prevention.
Your choices
You can remove Apple, Google, or email as a Pacey sign-in method without ending your current session. You can disable notifications in device settings and manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy when Pacey or its providers change. We will post the revised date here.
